I watched Trump's speech a few hours ago in whatever state it was. What even is this? He literally went from talking about how Marco Rubio blew 40 million to TV ads he didn't like, then he started congratulating some golfer on winning a tournament. People clapped after every little word.

It's funny, I noticed the same thing at Kaisch's. And Cruz's. And Bernie's. And Hillary's. Its almost like there's supporters at each of the speeches!

Trump has swept through 4 Super Tuesday III states/territories! No Cruz wins, No Rubio wins, and only one win for Kaisch, and that was his home state!

You literally don't even play TF2 anymore! It's been like almost a year since you touched that game, and that's because you just post here. You literally have a addiction to arguments on a TF2 hat pricing forum's political section, and you don't even play the game anymore because of it. That's just bad.

That's cool. Except, I'm not on steam because my computer's motherboard broke down, and the (older) computer I'm currently using has trouble with running Steam.

That however gives me plenty of time to go to the gym, follow politics, etc ... So I thank you for your concern about my health, but I've probbably been more healthy then I've been in a long time.

Doing a bit of calculation using math (a hard concept for most Trump supporters), I found it would take ~31 years to build a wall like that here

But obviously technology has come a long way and whatnot, so maybe 10 years if we built a wall of that caliber? I've yet to hear any details about it, except for Trump saying "I know the best people you don't even know"

While you are completely right, the comperisan is odd. However ...

 

A 2000 mile wall that size would require THREE times as much concrete as the hoover dam - a project that required 5 years to complete.

But, UNLIKE the Hoover dam, you run into a simple problem: distance. How much time does it take to make a 2000 mile geological study? (you know, so segments of the wall don't topple in 5 years?) How many times do you have to relocate your work site, your equipment, your people? (many locations don't even have decent access roads, miles into the middle of nowhere) ...

 

The great wall didn't have that problems. Why? Because it was a centuries long project done by the forced labor of millions of Chinese "volenteers". Geological study? BWha! If a segment crumbled - get some more "volenteers" and fix it good this time.

... oh, and those "volenteers" didn't get weekedns off.

 

 

Even for Trumps second proposition, the 1000 mile wall ... I'd still consider 10 years a decent estimate.
