still a large bezel and double that for each side of the monitor.

When I say I am looking for a new monitor with a small bezel I am looking for something like this

samsung md230 has like a 4-6mm bezel and looks like this in tripple mode:

you're not getting much lower than that without sacrificing like 3000$

Not a 1440p.

I have found plenty of ultra thin bezel 1080p monitors but I want higher res. Samsung makes bezels for TV almost non existent...its only a matter of time when they do the UHD monitors with the same bezels.

Catleap and QNIX use the same lcd from samsung. a third of the cost.

Asus made a decent 1080p montior

but samsung doesnt make ips panels,

and im pretty sure you have to wait several years for decent 1440p since barely any card out there can run more than one without suffering a lot. and it will take a while before any company starts making decent ones

Sorry, I guess i was unclear. I want a SINGLE 1440p monitor with an ultra thin bezel.

I do not like surround and eyefinity because of the bezel between each monitor. Two different topics.

I didn't mean for it to come off as me wanting 3 1440p monitors with ultra thin bezel to use in surround.

we gave you at least 3 different under 1k "future proof" builds to pick from.

After that we started talking about monitors and AMD vs nVidia.

8 days later you make your first response to the thread after starting it.

I gave a few options. One that was $800 without an SSD, $890 with an SSD, one that was about $1000 but had a GTX 770 in it. Everyone else gave great options, too.
