Let's replace our archaic ideas about scam prevention

If you paid attention, I never said blame the victim. I said EDUCATE THE VICTIM, SO THE VICTIM DOES NOT MAKE A MISTAKE. Thanks for reading.

Also, I never said to dismantle the current system. We need to continue to ban scammers, and obvious scammer fences who deal in NOTHING BUT scammed hats, but for now, we should work on educating the populace.

Even if outpost and bazaar were to build educational messeges for new traders we know they don't read things like that much until it matters. What needs to be added is a bi-weekly fyi showing how many traders have been banned and who they were. It can also give details about the situation surrounding their ban. Were they a scammer directly or did they fence (knowingly buying from a scammer). Also, outpost/bazaar could build an automatic warning to everyone that a scammer report has been filed on the person. Something like turning their name a notable color or something else.
