No way you've dealt with Apowwo as well. I bought from keys from him. I've even gambled 250 keys in crabbing on FirePowered, and when I lost I paid him. When I heard about what he did. Legit tried to tell him to give it back. I told my friends to not associate or buy anything from Apowwo. It's a shame people stooped so low. Those items are on mannco.store. These trades were conducted on my alt because I could not hold enough keys on my main to do the deal and NOT to hide anything because there is nothing to hide. I moved them directly after the trade. Secondly, there was no definite way to confirm the items were scammed. The guy came to me without being banned and had many people bidding. There is a million situations where this guy got these items without it being a scam. Maybe Moist gambled em. Maybe it was Moist's alt. Who knows. According to bp.tf rules, my job is to cross compare with SR if the guy is banned. If we would like to return to a situation where if the individual is a "blatant scammer" then I'm all for it. However, as the rules stand, that is not how banning and -repping people work on backpack.tf. Third, I have proactively made an effort to return Moist these items FOR THE PRICE I PAID. I am a massive trader, and I get scammed items from time to time. Shit happens. However, I have a policy that I will return people's items FOR WHAT I PAID if they can provide proof of the scam. You're probably thinking "Oh but Ender I never hear about you doing that" well that's because it isn't a big deal. It's a simple matter of morals, and I have always done that for people. Ask this guy: https://steamcommunity.com/profiles/76561198097962791 . He's a good friend of mine and his items fell into my hands after he got scammed. He got all of them back for WHAT I PAID. In this instance, I made a proactive effort to reach out to Moist. Moist and I have made an agreement to return the items for what I paid. I have reserved a sizeable amount of them; however, I simply cannot reserve every item on an "I owe you." I can't afford to do that. Therefore, if any of you want to be heroes, I'd be happy to sell you all the items for what I paid if you're willing to reserve them ALL for Moist. Oh wait, none of you want put down $10k just as a favor to Moist. This deal only applies with Moist's consent. I've always liked Moist; however, this is NOT my responsibility. I am doing Moist a massive favor that I bet 99.9% of you would never do for others so don't give me shit about it. Finally, Moist and I have come to an agreement to return the items that we are both happy with. You all are getting involved in an issue that's already resolved between me and Moist. If you would like to make a stink about the rules for trading with scammers, talk to the backpack.tf staff. I do not make the rules. I just follow them. The rules are objective right now, and if any of you dealt with the quantity of people I trade with, you'd understand that you see some weird situations with how people get items. The rules keep trading fair and if you disagree with that, you can talk to bp admins.
