For me, in my few years of trading, some buyer (I assume he is a kid) came to me wanting to buy my Australium Gold paint. During trading, I was curious and asked what you painting with that, and he said Phlog. I was stunned for a moment, I proceeded to explain to him paint and the concept of Australium weapons, I think I saved that kid 8 ref that day. What are your funny moments? I always get a kick when people add me trying to get me to overpay for their items when I am not interested in their items. I always go on community servers or trade servers to "accept" items that i newly aquire for some minor flexxing, but trading for a grey item that is simply called "bat" surely makes the entire server stop for a second to realise what the fuck you just spent 170 keys on. Xorfizz Posted May 27, 2020 Share Posted May 27, 2020 This conversation happened a few years back (not sure how long at this point, I want to say sometime in 2013-2014) ALIENKIY added me to offer on a TF Logo Executioner (he was collecting Unusual Executioners at the time) His offer consisted of a few different Unusual hats, one of them being a Bonzo Cadaver's Cranium. There's nothing really laugh-out-loud funny about this conversation, but I just adored his sales pitch simply being "bonzo super!" (And I cannot disagree with him!) He ended up checking that the Executioner was duped and immediately skedaddled on outta there. I ended up going out and buying that Bonzo Cadaver's Cranium a few months later. Really wish I had kept it, because it's now worth 5x as much as I sold it for! Just remember everyone, Bonzo has always been super. It just took us all a while to realize! I was selling a deadringer to a guy, and he offered me a ref for it. I told him he didn't need to pay that much (was only looking for a scrap) so he added a crate in response and readied up on the trade.
