Should the crash of the TF2 economy occur, most people will probably just go back to playing the game like it was meant to be played: as an FPS. Depending on your view and goals, that's either great or horrible. Either way, the economy will most likely fix itself or be fixed by people.

 

I also think that the Scam Artists and Phishers and Duplicators will flood into other games that are building an economy like CS:GO and Dota. But hopefully, Valve will find a way to stop them before they also screw over their economies
