Marty Birdman Posted February 18, 2015 Share Posted February 18, 2015 The DayZ mod was incredible. Broken beyond belief, yes. Was and still is. But for me, it was all just part of the incredibly unfair challenge that the game offered. Coordinating bandit attacks with my friend over Skype, trying to stockpile as much duped loot as humanly possible, and exploring all the maps, which were seemingly endless in size... always one random glitch, zombie punch to the head, or hostile encounter with rival bandits/hackers away from total failure. Idk how to define why, but it was pretty much my ideal gaming experience. Too bad it stopped working, I still miss it. Haven't played Rust or H1Z1, but the DayZ standalone didn't really click for me.
