Please do not unnecessarily quote a large amount of text to give a minimal response unrelated to any of the core content in quote. Its an unnecessary waste of space to scroll over. If you are going to quote someone to acknowledge you are responding to them (even though there would be no need, since you were the first to reply), then delete the text and replace it with "-snip-", or leave only the relevant portion. Is that really that hard? Nothing wrong with asking someone the lowest they'd be willing to go. I've had it happen to me plenty of times. It's a part of negotiations/trading in general. There's one thing if he said in his trade that he won't go lower than his asking price, but in this situation it's perfectly fine for him to ask what the lowest he can go is.
