Outpost is way less green now

JCapps

And by that I mean most of the people I see on outpost now no longer have a green name, meaning the pre-update subscritions have now expired.

Predict how Outpost, or even other websites, will change because of this. Just something to talk about. idk

no more auto bump trades with traders that have been offline for 3 months

It'll be nice without all the ancient trades clogging the site up, but I'm sad to see my VIP leave. I paid $10 in items 2 years ago to be a VIP forever... Paying monthly now is pretty stupid. Not a lot of people are going to be doing this, as most of us have already seen as of this morning.

hint hint

Is that on Outpost? I never saw that. They'll be hurting for a while without donators and all the AdBlock users.

Ah, wonderful.

I'm probably going to donate to Bazaar. I've been meaning to anyway, this is perfect.

This is exactly what i wanted to hear.

Bazaar does not charge monthly, therefore it is a "cheaper" alternative to outpost. The main reason why bazaar's population doesn't come close to outpost is the reason itself. Outpost is more populated. However, now that subscriptions have ended, a good chunk of outpost users may transfer over to bazaar, thus slowly solving the population problem.

Thanks for the heads up, re-subscribed to outpost.

Just fucking lol at their pricing deals, though.

$5/month. Okay.

Three months? $15!

However, if you go for 6 months, it's $30!

But if you sign up for a whole year, they DO give that for the price of $60.

lol

lol

Bazaar is probably the best donator I've ever purchased, other than maybe PPM.

I've already moved to bazaar for everything but unusuals. Far easier.

Same here. It's great putting 50+ items into a single trade, instead of the stupid 8 that Outpost restricts you to.

Outpost is finally considering making premium giftable. Don't know why in the world they haven't implemented that when they first changed the premium payment system. Hopefully users can finally buy premium through other users (Payment by keys of course or other items) by gifting it to them or people can be generous and gift premium to their non-premium firends :P

However, sadly...Outpost is very slow when it comes to fixing bugs or implementing new features, so most likely it won't be any time soon. Maybe few months from now.

How nice my experience would have been if that were true, but it's not.

Maybe you were on a different site. If not please link me to some trades that are still live where the seller is obviously inactive.

Is this a joke? A week is a long ass time for a trade to be open with no activity.  You actually think that's a solution?  Might I also point out that the issue that we're talking about is trades being on autobump while the seller is gone or asleep or something?  Did you think we were talking about something else?

Example: http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/23080619 seller is offline for more than 5 hours at the time of this post, trade is autobumping

That's the shit I'm talking about.

But here's the great thing, and this is what I was talking about before: that seems a lot more rare now, and I assume that's because a ton of people just lost their donor status.  This is good news.  It means the search results are now way more likely to have active people in them which you don't have to sort through so many inactive people to get to.

Yes, I was waiting for this. Now we won't see inactive traders who has not been online for over 5 days or over 2 days autobumpting their trades. It will be far less now.  :P

Those who are inactive and still have their trades open...Now their trades will automatically close in a week or so for not bumping. Of course talking about the inactive autobumper ones.
