Fenrir Posted April 11, 2014 Share Posted April 11, 2014 Everybody, I traded for an Aces High Industrial Festivizer the other day , I looked to see to wear it today, POOF, it was gone. I didn't get hijacked, I didn't trade it away, its just gone. I sent in a ticket to Steam Support and here's what it said: To whomever this may concern,I have put about 511 hours into my game of Team Fortress 2. A good 300 hours of these have been trading. After about a year or so of trading, I finally bought myself an unusual. That unusual was a Western Wear with the Stormy Storm effect. After trading around, I finally managed to upgrade it to an Aces High Western Wear. I logged onto TF2 at about 4:00 PM PST on 4/10/14. At about 5:00 PM PST, I decided to play some engineer. As I began playing I noticed my unusual wasn't equipped, which I thought was odd seing as I don't unequip it. I looked to equip it, and my unusual wasn't there. I know this sounds fishy, but I've attached several screenshots for proof: The 1st Screenshot of Proof is my trade history to show and ensure you that I did in fact trade for this unusual, and that I never traded it away either. The next five screenshots are the five pages of my backpack to show that my unusual is no longer their. The last screenshot is just of my Engi cosmetic items to show it is not there.I honestly don't know how my unusual dissapeared out of thin air, and it really just makes me want to cry and quit TF2. If you had been working on getting something for 300 hours how would you feel if it suddenly just dissapeared? Devestated. I am willing to do anything in my power to get my unusual back, so any assistance would be greatly appreciated. Should I close my ticket and make a new one and edit that out? This is why you don't include sob stories p.s my moms not a drug addict, and my father's not a recovering alcoholic, and I'm not a foster child. They dont really care that much about their customer's. They are not accredited by the BBB (Better Buissiness Bureau). Amen Posted April 11, 2014 Share Posted April 11, 2014 ya get rid of that sob story, some dude today added me and offered pretty low on one of my unusuals, said he got scammed (sob story) and said if I could just sell it to him for cheap.
