Nvidia launches dual titan card

Pyrocide

Titan was expensive enough already

But:

You can easily buy 2 titans and make them work together, no need to buy this monster ._.

Didn't know it would work like that.

It's all I report for. And I report quite a lot. Anyway, this is so damn expensive. I like gaming, I like it a lot, but $3000 for only a single part of my pc is a bit too much. You could buy a very good entire pc for that money, with only marginally worse results. This is too much

My computer now (after 3 years of adding and upgrading) barely tips the $3000 mark...peripherals and monitor included...

This is just stupid crazy money

There's no need atm for a GPU like that, games aren't even optimized for that.

For example a GTX 780 TI can run perfectly the current games and the future games that will come.

No need to buy that!

When the Titan was released, it was marginally more powerful than existing single GPU cards for nearly 2-2.5x the price.

When they released the 780, a card that should have been $450-$500, it sold like crazy at $660 because it seemed like such a good deal in comparison to the Titan.

I assume that they will be releasing a dual 780 card soon. It will have less, erm, wasteful specs and will seem like an amazing purchase in comparison.

CALLING IT NOW

I think nvidia's target audience for this isnt that large atm. It says it is optimised for people with huge gaming home rigs, such as rigs with multiple monitors. Right now the card will be expensive. But after some time when it might be needed the price wouldve dropped significantly
