Just Curious

So someone made a price suggestion of about 28.7 buds that got accepted on the Harvest Moon Veil 5-6 months ago based off the following proof:

sale/trade from person a to person b

two c/o's on trade by that person b

the trade by person b then got closed b/c the veil was "Reserved" for someone (that someone being me)

then someone makes that price suggestion...and it gets accepted...very easily

meanwhile i bought the veil for $1650 cash before that price suggestion went through.  that is about 47 buds if you value buds at $35 each.

so my question is this:

if i made a price suggestion and simply showed the screenies of the paypal transaction does that mean the price suggestion automatically wins and is now 47 buds?

just curious

If there have been no other sales recently (3 months I'd assume) and no other C/O's have been accepted under 47 Buds, I'd think 47 flat would be okay. If there was a recent sale though, it would have to be included in the range, unless it's a complete quicksale.

I think it's possible (of course with the approval of of our esteemed moderators) : One misc in the world-previous price ( http://backpack.tf/vote/id/5251fb6b4dd7b809568b4568 ~29.5-33) << than what you paid (last sale). There are several price suggestions ( accepted) that were based on old sales .

Also You can use 33$-bud( http://tf2finance.com/ ) we do not use 35 $-bud (bp tf price).

i see thanks (this is neymar had to open new account so i could use tapatalk on my new phone) maybe ill try.

how do u do a price suggestion anyway?

i kinda cherish this veil and dont think it is getting its proper due/value. i dont particularly care about it raising my bp value but i wont cry over that byproduct. i dont even want to put it at 47 as i overpaid on purpose a little bit (between me and seller). i was gonna suggest it at 40-45. i just wanted to do it properly.

screenie of the trade plus screenie of the paypal transaction? is that adequate?

Either you suggest the price you paid or low end with the next highest offer(/sale) + your price as high end. And since it's discontinued (most likely) I wouldn't really call this an outlier nowadays, some veils raise in price pretty much recently.~

If you really feel that you overpaid even for nowadays prices then don't make the suggestion.

It's very simple : http://backpack.tf/vote/Unusual/Villain%27s%20Veil/Tradable/Craftable/45   -->  I would have done it so :

Harvest Moon Villain's Veil   --OLD PRICE--

Harvest Veil sold for ~ 1650$ (paypal)--> 1650/33 $ ( http://tf2finance.com/ )~50 buds ,but here http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/14408261 price ~45 buds

Sold for~45 buds.

Also http://backpack.tf/vote/id/51bb5539ba25366a2c000007  ~35 buds -9 months ago prices are rising now on similar hats / misc
One misc -one last sale^^-flat price~45 buds.

Good luck ! I think that suggestion must accept mods - Woifi almost agree  :P

thanks for the advice, i tried my best, i hope people don't downvote just b/c they think i'm trying to raise my bp value

i just know that i would never sell it for less than my suggested price range and also i have my reasons expressed in the suggestion for why it is worth much more than when groovypanda sold it or compared to those 'ugly' c/o's on medic's trade which was only open for a couple weeks or so anyway.
