How to Disable Decals Entirely to prevent Game Crashing (For Casual & Community Servers)

This guide linked below can help with texture crashed that have been happening since last March. I was able to disable decals so my game wouldn't crash anymore. I was crashing on both Community Servers like Trade Vatican and on Casual Servers like HighTower

Wow, that's alarming. Thanks for the status report, Russell. I'd use it if i actually played the game lol, hopefully this helps whoever's dealing w/ decal-caused crashes & i hope this gets pushed to the top of google searches

could you do decals in casual? first time hearing this, how is it caused?

Bots been using this too in casual I think, causes people's games to crash just from whipping it out

No unfortunately it would cause an overload in textures and the server would crash same for community servers. Vatican City had an issue but Knuckles opted to disable decals altogether.
