Colonel Johnson Posted April 1 Share Posted April 1 The Blast Defense, being a quickswitch, clips so tremendously with 90% of the head cosmetics pool that I unironically use it standalone. From my experience, though, I have seen people using these hats that more or less clip less horrendously with the Blast Defense: -FR-0 (awful, in my opinion); -Nasty Norsemann; -Scotch Bonnet; -Scotsman's Stove Pipe (meh). Onion-Turtle Posted April 2 Share Posted April 2 (edited) If I were you I‘d look into hats that actually would have worked well as miscs. Like some dirt cheap spooky head bouncers or (my personal choice) a festive rack. But there honestly are quite a few other decent choices, just go through all hats on loadout-tf and find a combo you like. Some hats like the phononaut actually clip in a good way. (makes it look like a single robotic-themed-Space-helmet) The caribou companion clips a bit but creates a nice pair of discount antlers. Undercover Brolly does not clip and might work well with you knifestorm theme. Also good potential for cheap unusual combos. The fireworks effects should make the cloud look like it is a thunderstorm. Second-head wear clips on the skull but the top hat fits perfectly. A few hats like the salty dog disappear almost completely. There is no perfect solution, but I think these are all decent. Good luck!
