Well, that sounds suggestive, maybe a ton of people appreciate it so that's why they pay either a reasonable or gianormous amount of keys/money to get it on a hat they want. On the overprice thing, in general, I think it's just a huge tendency of recent times, probably would have never happened years ago, when the economy was still "new". You see hats with new effects sold for absurd prices I would personally have never accepted, but, at the end of the day, it's people's wallet that talks.
