The fun in the game comes from interacting with other players and strategizing, not from the expensive items you have.

 

That being said, if your intention is to trade on scrap.tf (I assume you're interested in weapons), I would recommend investing 2 dollars to purchase a key. This will give you enough to acquire all the weapons while still leaving you with plenty of refined to obtain any crafting hats you desire.

I'm interested in taunts. I have plenty of cosmetics since they're not too expensive depending on where you buy them. Taunts, especially the interactable ones. add so much more to the game.
