LaughingLollipop Posted July 26, 2023 Share Posted July 26, 2023 So naturally I'm wasting my time grinding TF2 and then I go hey lets check bp And on the main page I see this Now I'd really like some help understanding how the hell exactly there can be 2 suggestions for the same item WITH DIFFERENT PRICES accepted in the span of 30 minutes by the same mod The suggestions in question are https://backpack.tf/suggestion/64a6f9f1744837cb340ab8fa for 67 keys https://backpack.tf/suggestion/64a7cec7b929f26c6708ab70 for 66 keys clearly 1 suggestion is wrong, as they use different key prices. Why are both accepted? What made it so the 66 key one is now the price and not the 67 key one? It was created earlier and uses the average weekly key price rather the average key price for the day. Typically, mods prefer it if you suggest using the decorated weapon page (Although then it wouldn't count as an unusual suggestion, so I think some people suggest on the unusual page for it to count as an unusual suggestion(?)). One of my hats got priced off of a single sale which was a quicksell (sold for full price in pure in under 12 hours), and the price suggested wasn't even the actual price. They selected a different price to suggest literally because they thought the different number looked nicer lol. They said so in the post, and it got accepted in under a day, whereas other suggestions are pending for like, 3 months. can relate on the quicksale rule apparently meaning nothing have at least 3 hats that are 1/1 (not like amazing hats, but like... there are no other sales) purchased at list price <5 minutes after they went up on mannco suggs get accepted anyhow I guess the silver lining is that now mannco doesn't count so uh... safe in the future for that meanwhile I got a suggestion rejected because the guy bought it and resold it in under a month... https://backpack.tf/suggestion/61f4dfea4e890e539c2e52f8 apparently if a buyer resells an item for less, it is a 'regretted purchase' so sales are invalid?
