What does VAC Status and Trade status mean/represent in my account?

Ive tried looking it up and ive seen them fluctuate over time but cant figure out what exactly its measuring.

if you are trade banned/vac banned on steam, vacs cover every game on the status, doesn't matter if it's some rando game, still shows vac status: banned

A VAC ban is game specific utilizing automated software from Valve. A Steam user can accumulate multiple VAC bans if they are detected of using cheat software in multiple Valve games.

okay but when it says VAC status: $10 for example. what does that mean? and same thing for if I had say Trade Status: $10

Try resizing your window maybe? VAC and trade status should be “OK”, “BAN”, etc. I think you’re seeing your inventory value in the same line.

these are 2 seperate things, the $5 usd is your backpack value according to backpack,tf and the bottom $5 is estimated value based on scm

that means that you can sell yourself for 10 dollars
