Why can't I see my inventory?

Very recently, like today, I received 100+ items from a trade, but on backpack.tf, I can't see my items, all it is saying is "unknown error". Do any of you know what is wrong?

It just takes a while for things to update; give it time.

TL;DR is steam servers can't keep up with demand on them, so they won't load most of the time

or steam is tired of 3rd party sites taking their profits...

 

if they truly wanted to serve flawless API service they could; this is the same company that consumes >1% of global bandwidth for CSGO/Dota2 updates
