I dislike the fact that the culture here seems to be guilty until proven innocent and not the way around. There are telltale signs when a twitter (and similarly a steam/fb page) is clearly bought (weird followers, no posts then suddenly a flurry of posts just recently etc.).
I maintain a csgo-rep thread (a popular way to record cash transactions in the CS:GO scene) here https://csgo-rep.com/profile/76561198078427026
For your consideration I've picked out a recent review here of a 2.3k transaction (convo in the attachment)

The issue that people have in here is that they have been following the path to the items of the scammer and asking for you to post screenshots and other stuff specifically from the deal you made with the scammer.

Posting a "random" transaction of a "randomly picked dude" is again, not what we wanted ... We wanted specifically for you to post the deal you had with the scammer and the proof of you obtaining those items ... From what I can see from the above its a completely random dude ...

this isn't enough proof until you send me a screenshot with the trade where you got the items from this same exact profile, after that we cool.

guilty until proven innocent you speaking about, but there are two potential rule breaks you may have done:

1. you are the scammer

2. bought items off a scammer

All I need is the trade window with the date on it, and I will remove the -rep. I'm not looking to be a stress for people, but I don't like the rodents in our community.

Here you go. Trade was executed at 10:07PM CEST (local timezone). A day before the user accrued the negative ratings on top of the steamREP ban. I was unaware of the existence of this thread until I saw both their accounts being marked by steamREP (as I use an extension that visually marks steam accounts if they are SR banned) and started digging around.

Thanks for clarifying and providing evidence, Doudy. Sorry about that. I definitely jumped the gun there. Best of luck to you though.
