Owe Posted April 14, 2022 Share Posted April 14, 2022 Copied from backpack.tf discord server #announcements Effective now: - Relisting an item within the autobump interval will not bump the listing. - A 12-hour autobump interval is immediately available to all users. The rationale is simple -- we want to keep an even playing field for bots and regular users. It is very easy for bots to play around limitations, it's not so easy for users. Therefore: - Bots no longer have an advantage over regular users when it comes to keeping things bumped (provided you're browsing the site). Deleting and recreating listings before the autobump threshold will not provide an advantage in any way. - You no longer have to worry about micromanaging your listing bumps as a user. - Users should enjoy some more visibility with their listings, over bots who were abusing this loophole.
