I have a queastion, why does my metal count seem to change at random?

It will go up and down random amounts at random times of the day, is anyone else having this problem?

 

The last trade I made was two days ago and I gave 22 ref for an air of deboinair, which is worth about 28 ref, but since then my inventory worth took a nose dive from being worth 207 to 126 even though I haven't traded at all.

Price updates of outdated items is the most likely cause. Maybe you had a hat that has sell orders at 30 ref, but the old price was 1 key, and the price was updated to the current market. This would cause your metal worth to drop. This often affects people that own lots of keys, since keys are constantly being updated.

Killstreak items and skins also are a cause of fluctuations as the prices used are based off of average SCM sales.
