Cool Fez Posted October 17, 2020 Share Posted October 17, 2020 People putting ts/fh listings and other popular sheen and effect combos at the top mixed in with general buy orders is just confusing. Sometimes the general buy orders get even pushed out to second page. And the same guys putting in the comment that they are buying other sheens and effects at lower prices, is kind of line cutting. This pooop needs to be cleaned up. I know it's a first world problem cus it is mostly the meta weapons but still it is really frikin annoying. D.Alex Posted October 17, 2020 Share Posted October 17, 2020 I am guessing that at some moment fisk (the site developer) suddenly introduced these "specific Buy Orders" and then admins had to allow them in the rules. It was obvious from the start that these Buy Orders could be misused to "always be on top and advertise buying spelled items". I'm only surprised this did not happen sooner. P.S. This has always happened with painted hats so I dont see the problem or difference. There is an important difference here: painted hats buyers are really interested in those hats and even if they're advertising buying spells they still have to accept painted hats. These people here are clearly not interested in the posted item, do not expect it offered (3 specific parts, remember?) and it's simply an excuse for their text to be on top. It seems the solution would be to add spells and/or limit people to 1 buy order per item regardless of special versions.
