First time encountering this scam attempt

Some guy contacted me saying I reported you to the "steam admin" instead of the real scammer by accident and that I should contact steam admin on before my account gets "deleted"

I'll give him props for the high effort tho, never seen them ask me to add on discord before tho

The statement that Steam employees can't accept friend requests is complete bubkis especially when you look at the real JacobU's profile and see that he has 162 people on his friends list.

I'm not even mad. I've been trading on tf2 for many years and never ever got a scammer who tried to use this scam attempt to me.

Same as the old steam admin scam, but they ask you to talk to the "admin" via discord, jsut makes it more difficult to "prove" they aren't the actual JacobU
