They seem to have 10 bots, I get a lot of trade offers from this one https://steamcommunity.com/id/monopolytfbot3/ with this message in the trade "If you are having issues please visit https://monopoly.tf for more information.". Their website seems to have absolutely no information on it and contact us button does nothing. I only started getting offers from them about a month ago, is the website some kind of scam? creepio Posted June 10, 2020 Share Posted June 10, 2020 The bots sending trade offers are meant to lure people to the site, where the only option is to 'contact us' via email. This is where someone will likely try to sell their bs. I imagine they will try to sell it off like a Marketplace.tf in order to get you to part with your items. It's probably just a bunch of bots checking bp.tf (and maybe other sites) for good deals and sending trades. Interestingly enough, you can't extract trade url from the listing using api, so bots like monopoly or this one https://steamcommunity.com/profiles/76561198449688862/ must've actually scrape web pages. Wtf do they mean by "previously disconnected markets" though? Like, trading sites that have been dead? What are they gonna do, revive TF2WH? HaloGAMER0329 Posted June 10, 2020 Author Share Posted June 10, 2020 I should clarfiy that they arent just random trade offers but offers for stuff I actually have a buy order for, but ive only recieved the offers on my trading bot. My best guess is they are pulling off some kind of arbitrage scheme between bots scanning every trading website or they are liquidating stolen goods. Not sure but definetly wierd and sketchy.
