mptour
I tried adding a user for their collector's brass beast and immediately recieved an invitation. My IQ is below 10 so please bare with me. I added him and we got into a negotiation discussion, all normal till he sent me a site to check my keys were safe, as the biggest nut i clicked and entered my info. as soon as i clicked enter i knew i fucked up so i went straight ahead to change my password and email with help with the mobile authenticator I saw my settings were set from public to private so i changed them back and im constantly check my inventory to see if anythings off. How else can i check to see if im still safe?
Scott Bakula
You'll also want to deauthorize all other devices ( https://store.steampowered.com/twofactor/manage ) and revoke your api keys ( https://steamcommunity.com/dev/apikey ). You will be unable to trade for a while, but better safe than sorry. Also, if your steam password was similar to your email's password or any account that also uses the same email address as your steam account, you're gonna want to change all of those passwords too.
