How do spells affect an item's price?

I got a strange cosmetic with a halloween spell on it and kills strange part attached. How much more is it worth with the spell?

It depends on spell and parts.

If you are talking about your Strange Outback Intellectual, Sinister Staining is a common spell. You can sell it for ~3 keys.

And strange parts are usually not counted as value for most. Maybe rare, expensive and good strange parts might be valued by minorities (collectors, actual players if they remained among traders).

Since Kills strange parts is expensive you can add +1 key for it as well, so it can be ~4 keys.

 

Edit: BTW, ofp's sale is listed a year ago. This might be an indicator for how paint spell market is suffering.

4 keys is way too much, just ask for 2-3 if you want to get rid of the item any time soon. The spell is bad and almost no one is willing to pay more for S. Parts.

The spell market is really good if you're smart enought.
