This gun jumped 3 keys in price which seems odd. Can I get an explanation?

If this was a unusual, I wouldn't care but this gun used to be around 6 ref based on the bot selling price. Why did it jump so much so suddenly? Should I sell mine now? Is this an error or was it intentional?

You generally shouldn't use backpack.tf for skins, the steam community market is generally more accurate

 

But if you can find someone that will pay 3 keys for that you should sell it asap

What happened is someone sold one for a high price on the SCM (as a way of transferring funds). As backpack.tf uses SCM sales for most skins, this has temporarily fucked up the algorithm.

 

So, no, the gun has not jumped up in value at all.

skinned weapons are like killstreak kits/fabs/weaps only that skins are much worse as there is low in quantity which means its very easy to manipulate the price.
