SirMillbot
So like most of you, have been around bp.tf for a while, having done a handful of suggestions (17) but do a lot of voting because I think this site serves a valuable purpose. But something really chaps my ass and thought it was worth posting before I move on from being involved in the many processes here. Opened this suggestion yesterday - http://backpack.tf/vote/id/52f557df4dd7b808088b4568 - suggesting that a Pallet of Crates take out 1.66 Ref from the current 1.33 -1.66 Ref price for a flat 1.33 Ref price. Beyond Python having some issues with it, that I responded to, it got supportive comments and an 89.94% approval score. So was really surprised to log in this morning and see that Puddington had closed this suggestion with the comment "All of your unsolds at 1.66 refined have sold. Closing this." Hmmm, OK, over 25 trades at the time selling/unsold at 1.33 Ref and 5 unsold at 1.66 Ref. So, Puddington, let's look at the 1.66 Ref trades that I had as unsold proof that you said were ALL closed. http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/17755810 Trade is indeed closed, but the Pallet of Crates has not been grayed out (some other items were) but you know what, he still has his Pallet of Crates in his backpack. http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/17772062 Trade is indeed closed, but with none of the items grayed out and no adds for a Pallet of Crates which are still in the users backpack. http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/17811371 Hmmm, trade still open, Pallet of Crates still for trade. (was for 1.55 Ref) http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/17781032 Hmmm, trade still open, Pallet of Crates still for trade. http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/17117797 Hmm, trade still open, Pallet of Crates still for trade. And thats about it. I get that Mods have a lot of these to check on, but come one, how hard is it to click on 5 links and see that they have not sold, read some comments and see the approval %. Sadly, this kind of stuff can be the norm lately with certain mods, and why there tends to be a somewhat negative vibe about bp.tf in the tf2 community, with complaints of manipulation and laziness. On a side note, I knew Blind Polar Bear before he became a mod here, and the guy is 1st class, if the powers that be have any sense here, they would move him to the top of the hierarchy. So, yeah, its kind of a bitch session, but you know what, bp.tf is successful because of people that take the time to do research and make suggestions, but dont really have the stomache to waste my time on it anymore. See ya all.

AwesomeMcCoolName
http://backpack.tf/vote/id/52f074794cd7b85d518b4568 Voting percentage means nothing. But mistakes do happen from time to time, especially when you realize how many suggestions get dealt with every day. And the people who hate on backpack.tf hate it for irrational (nonexistent) reasons; most of the people who hate bptf don't hate it because of shit like this. People hate it because: They're poor and keys going up is a huge disaster (apparently)--unfortunately these people fail to realize if they just accept it and move on, then key-ref prices mean nothing. I mean keep in mind, the number of traders is constantly growing, so if keys being expensive in ref really mattered that number would be falling. People who over valued their unusuals (and/or over paid) and are upset that bptfs price is lower--thereby defining the market (because bp.tf clearly defines the market--thats why all prices are constant). People who use to shark (take advantage of inexperienced traders), but can't do so anymore. Finally, people who are so stupid they have no problem taking screenshots completely out of context. SirMillbot
http://backpack.tf/vote/id/52f074794cd7b85d518b4568 Voting percentage means nothing. Voting percentage was not the issue, saying all the unsold proof was CLOSED is the issue. And if it means nothing why the heck do we vote and tabulate it? Personally, I love bp.tf I don't mind if my hat gets lowered, I can pricecheck like every item in the game. now, If my 18 bud hat got lowered an insane unrealistic amount I'd be mad, but most suggestions are fairly reasonable
