Can I trade effectively without trading servers?

I'm a kind of a handicapped person that is not having the ability to trade in trade servers due to my Extremely Bad PC (and I really mean it in a way I can't even play tf2 for more than 30 seconds without the fps dropping to 1, even with fps increase configs). So, can I effectively trade without trading servers? What can I do to compromise that ability in order to get profit?

yeah it's possible. I mean, DedAndrei barely even plays tf2 buts makes ton of profit

You just have to be patient and wait for someone who wants to buy your items

dedandrei and people like him are different.they can make ton of profit by being online because they are very rich and may own items that most people want so customers go to them.

in terms of normal low-tier traders, its nowhere easy as these folks .

to answer OP's question,it is effective

One of my IRL friends did a stint trading and like 2 weeks in he had his pc confiscated, you have to be thinking on your feet a bit more, but he said just spam out the offers and he did alright

Back when Outpost was a thing, trade servers were utterly useless. I guess now they could have some use, but overall they're still a huge waste of time, as it requires you to actively be on the server for hours, instead of just browsing a website efficiently, posting trades and checking out offers once in a while.

Depends. I haven't used servers in a while, and I think in the few months that I did I got maybe one solid deal? Profits are generally better when buyers come to you anyway, I find.

tbh trade servers have never been that effective since the arrival of bots. i never use them to trade. total waste of time. using a combination of trade sites it's  quite ez to make a go of trading. patience is the key. trade servers have always been more a place for impulse buys/trades. list the item reasonably and with a knowledge of what's hot and what's not. that comes with experience though and experience takes time :)

Trade servers can be a hit or miss imo, just stick with trading websites and look out for prices and all that and I think you're good to go. You don't have to religiously stick with trade servers to trade efficiently.

lemme give my 2 cents

-yes its possible to trade without them if u know the market and know what to buy and sell

-but as a guy/gurl who is looking to get into trading or is new, i highly suggest trade servers cus it gives u immense experience about the trading markets for unusuals/steam cards/gems/cs stuff etc.

-also socialising with people doing same stuff as u isn't that bad ^^

Dedication, hats won't sell themselves.

I trade every day, you can send me an offer and you get a response in minutes (except when I'm sleeping.)

Research, i can identify if an unu will sell or not.

Resourcefulness, i never lost proffit in any of my trades. Even if i bought a bad hat i can sell it to different automated sites to get proffit.

Its possible if you're not lazy

then again, the only trades i'm good at are insane deals off of SCM.

i have really bad luck with backpack.tf tho, often buying hats just before they drop.

Thats a weird question to post on the largest tf2-trading site`s forum..

I have never traded anything on/over a server.. (outpost or bazaar neither), so its possible.

HOW; there is no recipe for how, you have to figure out what works for you. Advice you get is at best what works for that person with their inventory and amount of time pr day spent on trading

I have no patience to watch scm or maybe i need more research.

I guess stick to what you're good at.
