Seminal Inhalation Posted February 3, 2014 Share Posted February 3, 2014 An Offers option should be available for the classifieds instead of only having to list it with a price.There's always people putting random prices because there is no Offers option, and people add them thinking they're selling for that low price, but they don't read and see that they want offers. Here's some options that would be very nice to have. 1. Have areas for classifieds. 1 side for offers. 1 side for set prices. etc, for easier navigation.2. As I first stated, be able to put an Offers on your price when listed in the classifieds instead of a set price. Yes, there is an option to say you can take offers when the user adds you or offer in trade offers, but a couple problems with that.1. NOBODY READS! They just check the price and move on, if they're interested they just instantly add you ignoring any notes you put in.2. The set price. The site forces you to put on a set price, and what if you have no set price and just want simple offers? But yeah, if you want offers that way, there's an option for it. Unfortunately, the point of the classifieds is to sell items quickly using a set price. Chances are if they are banned off outpost they are not welcome here as well. The point of classifieds is to have a easy straight forward system to sell items you have for your listed price, not have people listing for "offers" or having other lowball your trades. Use outpost for that. Trading with offers comes with many cons: - highballers spamming trades looking for "offers" - phishing links - traders getting spammed with lowball offers ...etc list goes on. 1. NOBODY READS! Any price you put is misleading because you do not know what you want for it and is not a price you'll take. 1) That's the beauty of it, either people buy for your price or they dont, if you need to write notes...etc use outpost. 2) Everyone should have a price they would instantly take, because this site forces you to put a set price we dont have pages and pages of trades with people "asking for offers only". Take outpost for an example, you literally need to go though 10+ trades before you can find a half decent seller, people are either highballing, "looking for offers" (which generally are highballing anyways) or are never online. Banned from Outpost? [Removed] If you are polite, considerate and fair in your trades the community would happily give you a second chance. If you cannot connect to the trading sites? If you have bad internet or no internet then you cannot connect to anywhere. If you have internet and are not banned for some foolishness then you can pretty much use every trading website. And I do not agree with an offers option. Outpost is pretty much rediculed with such offers and usually leads to harsh conversations. Classifieds is clean with that. You like the price; you add the person, you do not like the price; move on. If you want to research the price of an item before committing to a selling price, then use forums for help or offers.
