HarryG
https://backpack.tf/suggestion/5a4f02d344325a6082183544 Wrongly accepted at 40, see this suggestion. After 40 was accepted due to mod and suggester error not actually checking on what they thought happened in the cake sale buyers arose for 23 in classifieds and on scrap I think (why wouldn't they, if 40 was accepted that sounds about right). However as soon as I made this suggestion the owner unloaded the hat for 23 before the price could drop. The problem here is that if the mods hadn't accepted the incorrect suggestion for 40 than there wouldn't have been buyers for 23 in the first place. I think that at this point it should be reverted to be unpriced and so does this mod https://gyazo.com/d50958f263a05fb4ce0fd3b49659efe1 https://gyazo.com/78ab8ec9b3d83d3981880ffeaf42fccf . Because in the end, 15, 15.5, 16, 23, buyer for 23 and 40 doesn't equal a price of 40 the way i see it. That's just ludicrous. If the suggestion doesn't get reverted (It can, it happened with that paint thing a while ago) and the hat return to unpriced then I'm just wondering what the ruling would be in a case like this because now we have conflicting mod opinion and that's confusing. Administrators Teeny Tiny Cat Posted January 5, 2018 Administrators Share Posted January 5, 2018 Agree that 40 is high. Randy made a call at the time that I think was reasonable given the info, but you're right - it is high. Your counter was low. I've reverted the suggestion and it can stay unpriced til it settles and we get some more data points. No need for drama.
