AwesomeMcCoolName Posted January 18, 2014 Share Posted January 18, 2014 Very often people (namely newcomers) will post a thread in the Trading section, but not to make a trade--but rather to ask a question. Unfortunately, there are a lot of people who never really look in that section. So....i propose a "warning" when you create a thread in the trading section: "This section is for trading only, please post in one of the following threads if this is NOT meant to be a trade: (various links to the different sections)." And/or make it a requirement to use a "[WTB]", "[WTS]", or "[WTT]" tag for any thread in the trading section. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Pretty sure there's already plugins for IPBoard that allow people to post threads through a form. He could install one of those and have a template for the trades. People will understand they're in the wrong section when they see the form, and as an added bonus it will keep the trading-section more organized.
