A warning in the Trade section

Very often people (namely newcomers) will post a thread in the Trading section, but not to make a trade--but rather to ask a question. Unfortunately, there are a lot of people who never really look in that section.

So....i propose a "warning" when you create a thread in the trading section: "This section is for trading only, please post in one of the following threads if this is NOT meant to be a trade: (various links to the different sections)."

And/or make it a requirement to use a "[WTB]", "[WTS]", or "[WTT]" tag for any thread in the trading section.

Sure why not, shouldn't be to hard to implement for brad

Brad didn't create the forums, and I don't think he can change that much on his own (without putting a huge amount of work into it).

The real question is "why has begun to happen"? It us s fairly recent activity. It may be better to change the titles. Ex. Economy/Trading and Items for Trade.

@Woifi - Brad made the art section in no time so idk what you are talking about.

That's like creating a new thread lol, you don't know what you are talking about. :P

So, if this feature you are asking for is not already implemented in the forum software somehow, this will most likely not gonna happen.

Pretty sure there's already plugins for IPBoard that allow people to post threads through a form. He could install one of those and have a template for the trades. People will understand they're in the wrong section when they see the form, and as an added bonus it will keep the trading-section more organized.
