Hopefully, this'll be a weekly/biweekly event where we get together, play some silly board/card games, and have a laugh. Unfortunately, the game "Tabletop Simulator" is needed for this. It's a great program, and purchasable for around 6 keys via Outpost. I've been a massive fan of board games for a while. I'm not talking Monopoly or such, but the more obscure, nerdy ones. King of Tokyo, Epic spell wars, and such. I'll be sure to post examples, and links to them if possible. Important news First week is planned! The game will be: Epic Spell Wars of the Battle Wizards Duel at Mt. Me 2. Shufflespy 3. Apollo The Lion 4. Debraaaaaaa 5. Zapperzz 6. 7. 8. Waiting list: The game is a 8 player murder-fest. Each player takes turns making a spell, and then casting it to attack your opponents. The artwork is very Adventure Time-esque, and it's silly and fun. Rules will be explained on the day, but I have linked them above, if anyone wants to give it a read before playing. The game should last around 45~ minutes for a single round. We'll continue for as long as people are interested. This depends on how slow people are, though. Slots will be first come, first serve, WITH PRIORITY TO PEOPLE WHO HAVE COMMENTED EARLIER, as it's only 8 player. But I can rotate people out after matches. IF YOU WISH TO JOIN, PLEASE PM ME SOMEWHERE WITH YOUR SKYPE NAME. I'LL TRY TO PM PEOPLE WHO HAVE SHOW INTEREST ALREADY. SKYPE IS NEEDED, MICROPHONE IS NOT. Most games are 2-8 players, and we'd have to adjust depending on the amount who show/have separate games. But this could be a fun way to interact and get to know the other forumers. Skype/Teamspeak will probably be needed to communicate, as in game comms are usually quite iffy. Microphone preferred, but not needed. While I'd love to play with everyone, but as shown by past events, I'd rather have a group of people who know each other, and are happy to mess around and have a nice time together. Please only apply if you're already well known here or are interested in earning a foothold in our community, this is an exclusive event and we don't want outsiders who are here only for the games. Come to play but please do stay. Don't be afraid to ask, but please. Keep this in mind. If the game takes longer than one session, we'll either wrap up there or save and continue next session. I need to be able to plan games, set up the board and get rules sorted, so if you say you're going to come, please try to stick by it, and let someone know if you cannot make it in ADVANCE so planning can be made. I think just one of the free games (such as cards against humanity) with forumers on Sundays would be pretty neat, and get a much better turn out. You coming? <3 Nah I can't, I work so many 10 hour shifts and my work schedule is all over the place until we get some new workers. I've literally had 9 hour closings til 12 AM, then had to be back for a 9 hour shift at 6 AM. I can hardly do jack with my work running me ragged right now. Plus I dont have the game, and I do boardgame nights here IRL with roommates. We do Betrayal on House Hill, Mansion of Madness, MTG, Netrunners, Eldritch Horror and it's expansions, Descent, or a few others that I cant recall.
