Please Unban Me!

So recently my account was hijacked. I have no idea how or why. When I recently got back in control of my account after many conversations with steam I go to check out my backpack on backpack.tf to see I was marked as a scammer, I go onto steam rep and see that the hijacker used my account to scam someone else! I recovered my profile before the hijacker sent themselves the unusual and now I am in a sticky situation! I would just love to be unbaned and have my profile restored to what it was before the unfortunate circumstance.

Thanks in advance!

As far as I'm concerned, you still have the unusual. I'd say to give back the unusual to the owner and make an appeal to SR with a screenshot of your trade giving back the scammed unusual and just say that you were hijacked.

Other than that, if you don't give it back, I'm quite sure that you're still scamming (even if you're not the hijacker) as you're keeping the unusual that was gained through an illegitimate way and attempting to make profit.

you have to appeal your ban on steamrep

before that you have to trade back that pe mongolian

9. Pay back the victim.
As soon as possible.

The sooner you repay your victims, the more that will count in your favor during your appeal. In general, you should have already repaid before submitting your appeal. You can find who you traded with in your inventory history, make sure to repay ALL your victims back. However, repaying your victims is NOT an automatic assurance that your appeal will be granted.

Can be proven with a simple ip change.

If it changes too drastically, it could be a hijack.

Would be useful to see the steam support convos (emails and such)
