You will go up the price of the white / black paintings in the future?

It seems like they're slowly going up now (especially blacks). Not a drastic rise, but it's still something.

 

 

 

Wow thank god. I was starting to regret selling my aussies and buying paints instead of keys during Christmas.

 Valve knows exactly how the market is doing. 

For example, why have Valve not released 1 st gen effects in new crates? 

Why are new unusual effects locked to crate events?

Because Valve knows not to screw with the market too much. 

Last time Valve made a screw around was with the Halloween spell glitch that got patched. That one angered alot of traders.

1st gens WERE re-released, several times actually.

Valve don't care about traders, they care about us using the market. Which is what this is doing.

The crash is inevitable. The questions is when not if.

Probably means that the first wave of discount paints is being sufficiently depleted to drive up the price.  There'll probably be another drop though as there are still many people who haven't even put their paints on the market.  Long-term though, the trend should now be upwards.

Black and white paint won't ever recover. Too bad for the people who heavily invested in it thinking otherwise.

The paints look good. If there is no summer sale for paints the prices would be fully back by August.
