humen200
Can someone help me? My MacBook air's been acting weird lately. Every time I on it, it stays with a white screen forever and u have to shut it down and on it again for it to work. Sometimes u have to shut it down twice. Do u guys know how to fix it? AwesomeMcCoolName
Verify disk permissions, reset pram, format and reinstall.
humen200
I really suck at this stuff. If u do all that, will the data inside my laptop be destroyed?

Only reformatting will, and you can reinstall the os without formatting if you want. But do the other stuff first. To verify/Repair disk permissions: Disk Utility>Main drive>Repair Disk Permissions To Reset Pram: Turn off Computer, turn the computer on and hold down "Ctrl+Option+P+R" until the computer restarts again (i personally like to keep holding it down and let it restart twice that way but one is good enough).
