Mr. Bull
Hello Backpack.tf community. It has come to my attention that there are 3 very worthless price suggestions in Backpack.tf's database. They are the suggestions for the 3 halloween effects for the Unusual Noh Mercys. (Eerie Orbiting Fire, Flaming Lantern, and Cauldron Bubbles) There are no Noh Mercys that have these effects. Why are these sillier than any of the other suggestions for Unusual hats which haven't been unboxed yet? Because Unusual Noh Mercys have been discontinued. http://pastebin.com/ipT1CqYP (Sorry if I didn't link this correctly, this is my first ever forum post) This means that these three price suggestions serve no purpose. Why suggest a price on something that will never exist? I would really like these removed from the Unusual Noh Mercy Price Suggestion sheet. Distinctively Vincent
A direct response from Valve doesn't always mean anything significant. Used to be certain polycount weapons had a lower drop rate. No official 'proof', but everything pointed in the direction of certain weapons dropping significantly less frequently than others. Someone e-mailed Valve and got a response that all drop rates were equal. Then a couple weeks later, someone else e-mailed again with some harder stats to back them up from someone who tracked item drops on their server over a month. Got a response that certain ones had indeed been given a rarer drop rate to 'encourage trading' and from there were adjusted to give honestly equal chances of dropping. Not to mention, I've seen the response from someone else who had e-mailed Valve about the noh mercy. The response was essentially 'yep, look, the wiki says so'. All in all, even a direct response from Valve should be taken with a grain of salt. There's no guarantee you're getting a response from someone with the ability to or who cares to take the effort to look indepth on the issue.
