Change camera override render settings to 1024 Use an actual camera and not the work camera Watch these valve tutorials on the basics Watch Jimer Lins SFM Tip of the day for some quirky and general tips about using SFM Read some quides on 3-Point Lighting Look up The Rule of Thirds Look at non-post-processed SFM pictures. They looks bootyful but look at what SFM can do on it's own before photoshop/AE. There is always someone better than someone else so don't worry about trying to one-up people. And you will get better with time. Have fun toying around with this awesome tool that Valve gave us. My opinion, feel free to ignore it: You are too new to be wanting money out of the gate for your posters. Many a time when I put work into a poster I received tips ranging from a few ref to an australium. I do it because I like making things.
