Sometimes it's complete random name, other times he's impersonating admins of groups, even well known people around the community I've thought about reporting him for impersonation on steamrep, but the problem is the only option I have for that is proof of a scam. And as far as I know, he's not impersonating with intent to scam. So, would I get banned/warned for reporting him without any proof? It's this guy; http://steamcommunity.com/profiles/76561198108299095 Also his player alias history while being on the server; http://stats.endlessgamers.net/player_histories/aliases/5530 He's impersonated "mattie!", and both founders/owners of my primary group And obviously, he's banned perma banned from the server so it doesn't show every single player alias, which is a shame. He also ran from a 1 ref spycrab, he was playing against an admin. Not the smartest guy. Report on Fortress of gamers instead For impersonation you dont need proof of them scamming, just proof of them trying to impersonate someone and that ban from TF2-T and UT showing his name up as "strife" is plenty proof already. λngelღмander Posted April 3, 2015 Share Posted April 3, 2015 Why would you want to report him for impersonation BEFORE you said "Hey jimmy, you know that impersonation can get you banned on steamrep, can you stop doing that? I care about you as a friend and don't want to have to report you" And yes, FoG is the best, but don't stab him in the back before you let him know that it's a markable crime.
