The idea behind requiring a range is that unusuals are rarely traded for 1 flat value, how ever each of these is traded consistently for same thing, so the only way to incorporate a range would be to include rejected offers in the range, which is nonsensical when you have multiple sales all pointing to one value. ThatOtherChigga #Mack
Yeah I don't really agree with all unusuals must have a range. Perhaps you could buy premium and check the histories of the hats to see if any were sold recently and not on the market.
Mr. Bucket
I'd say use the 3.6 sale on the Bombing Run, it's not like he paid 2x the amount the other owners paid. For the Pyromancer http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/11007039 Check the history of the keys and the bud, the next owner on all of them is the same person the Bubbling Pyromancer's Mask he owns previously belonged to: http://www.tf2outpost.com/item/440,1813002422
ERASER BY
Why no 2.9-3.1 ? I agree 3.1- out of price range , but this has its advantages : If you calculate the pure price : Flat 3- only 3 x 0.9~2.7 2.9-3.1 - 2.9 pure(lower price range) and 3 x 0.9 ~2.7 So 2.9 is closer to 3 because it is the price of sales. My opinion is that the average price should be approximately equal the pure price, we're are laying the in the price of pure offers and sale , this is not always sells/offers 1 unusual for 1 unusual . P.S. When I write I have not seen the post Mr.Bucket ( Hight end 3.6)

Also, that pyromancer trade you linked, salamander bought it for 1 bud+4 keys 2 months 21 days ago, which is really too old to still be valid as thats when the last price was valid. So you're left with 3 sales, 1 bud, 1 bud, 22.8 keys-paint. So they all end up being pretty much 1 bud +/- a ref.
Mr. Bucket
I don't think it's too old personally. If there's no other available info and it still doesn't have a range, I'd say it's okay to used older info. About the Bombing Run, I still think 3.6 is okay to include in the range.
