Bios Update?

Building a pc. I already have the case and a cpu fan from a old pc but when building I found that there was a icon at the bottom telling me that I may need a BIOS update. So since I'm have no idea what that is could someone tell me? (I have searched Google and the Google gods didn't help)

Also I've been looking on Ebay and I've found some R9280s for 120 to less but its Ebay so should I trust it?

You can just flash the bios via a usb drive when you got the pc. If you don't know what bios is either: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/BIOS

Bios is basically just the program that allows you to set all of the computer settings to what you want to set them to... Just run a quick Google search and I imagine you can find loads more on the topic.. As for Ebay, I don't see why you wouldn't trust it...If it's this one http://www.ebay.com/itm/Asus-R9280X-DC2T-3GD5-Radeon-R9-280X-3GB-384-Bit-GDDR5-PCI-Express-3-0-/161525764791?pt=PCC_Video_TV_Cards&hash=item259baf92b7 then I'd say yea trust it simply because it has a money back guarantee on it. Then again, I don't necessarily use Ebay so idk everything about it
