Im looking for a price range at 600 or under and It should be able to run any source game and rust at a good fps. So what should I get replies are appreciated. Not to mention AMD drives on Linux are....difficult. So, the potential room for upgrades isn't there as much as you'd think it would be. And for the games he said he'd be playing (in the post right after yours), the build I linked will be more than sufficient. Although, an i5-4460 and a Sapphire Tri-X R9 290 would be worth the extra $140~ should he want to play more intensive games.
