Chewi105
Hokay, so I have a BenQ GW2255 1080p 60ghz monitor, and I wanted to connect my WiiU into it's DVI port so I could have a screen to play on. Since the Wii U is an HDMI connection, I got an HDMI to DVI converter. And yes, Im aware that there is no sound when converting. Anywho, when I switch my input from D-Sub to DVI on my monitor, it goes black, then reverts to D-Sub. None of the pins on the converter are bent or broken, the Wii U is plugged into the wall, and all the wires are connected. Anyone got any idea how to fix? AwesomeMcCoolName
And yes, Im aware that there is no sound when converting. Thats actually not necessarily true.... DVI can actually carry sound. Unplug the Dsub cable and try again.
Chewi105
Turn off and on again Tried that Thats actually not necessarily true.... DVI can actually carry sound. Unplug the Dsub cable and try again. Ah, well, my monitor doesnt have speakers anyways, lol. Tried It without the Dsub in twice, and the Wii U crashed both times Plugged the DSub back in, and there was still no connection made. And the Wii U also says that the TV has been changed, and when It trys to auto configure the video settings, it fails.
