Barack O'Llama
So, maybe I'm stupid and missed something, and I'm terribly sorry if that's the case, but how can I, as a Mac user, install and use Automatic? I'm finding Automatic new and confusing, truly, so if someone also wanted to generally explain it, that would be alright. Thanks.

MikeStardust
If you want to use automatic on Mac you have to install Xcode and follow the power user steps. I've followed the power user steps and could still need a hand with this :S I've done everything on the list.... what now? how do i start it up? got node installed, xcode, everything tried running "node bot.js" but other than a terminal list output i get nothin Would really appreciate some help:) Thank you very much! Duablo
Did you run it as administrator? There is some technical forums that might help You out. If this is a problem with script itself (compatibility), you may forward it via support ticket http://backpack.tf/issue

HusKy
I have already explained how to install on Mac here http://forums.backpack.tf/index.php?/topic/20204-backpacktf-automatic-help-thread/ You will need to search a bit though. Judging by your output, the protobuf lib is not compiled correctly.
