Ever try B.A.S.E. Jumper/Sticky Jumper with the Skullcutter?

I have.

It's great.

Got a crit-kill on a rocket jumping soldier on my way down.

Claidheamh Mor is almost a straight downgrade from the Eyelander, how can anyone not vote for an almost-straight downgrade? Go back and vote for that, all of you! :P

Skullcutter can be frustrating as f&^%, but it has its moments. For example, Skullcutter + Tide Turner + a medic = ded enemy team. Also, if someone does close and engage in melee fight, Skullcutter's probably going to win. Just don't use it if you're going to be doing much beyond standing and spamming.

Pain Train is extremely useful for capping points, at only the cost of slight bullet vuln. (Demo is already weak to bullets, so that doesn't often make much difference) It's also extremely useful for trolling on CTF maps and MvM.

Caber can't be the worst, because although it doesn't recharge and is generally either a suicide tactic or a piano in the ass to use, a demoknight can clear all the people and things in an area with a single crit caber charge.

Eyelander is the obvious choice for a pill/shield Demo, but even the Eyelander is sub-par for a sticky demo; random crits + higher base health make the bottlehampan a much better choice. Even if Eyelander demo gets to full heads, a single random crit ends the argument.

Half-Zatoichi gets random crits + full health on kill, so it's a decent choice if you are planning to kill your enemy with face-to-face MAN fighting.

Persuader = charge refill = useful.

But the Claidheamh Mor...the only thing is has going for it is the extra charge length, and even with that, you're still not as mobile as an Eyelander Demo with 3+ heads.

I've never liked the skullcutter or the Persuader. Persuader is only useful in demoknighting, same with the Skullcutter.

The Claidheamh Mor is fun to use. It's a pain, but it feels rather similar to the Eyelander. Also, that crit window tho.

How can you dislike claidheamh mor? The extra 0.5 seconds might not seem like much, but when you are charging you are going so fast that 0.5 seconds will make a huuuge difference.

exactly, though with the wee booties or bootlegger and a shield on a multiplied by 10 server... well you know what's up

Claidheamh Mor is one of my personal favorites, the 0.5 second bonus can be useful for easier getaways and reaching farther targets

Does anyone have a piano in the ass pic?

Charging into 5 dudes capping the last point on DeGroot during the very last second of capture, annihilating them all in a single crit swing and winning the round.

The glory you feel while laughing at their gibs...

Also is funny to pick red snipers from above. 90% of them can't even hit you while you're flying towards their face. skrubs

I disagree. with "almost straight downgrade" things like that aren't possible.

If you do shield bash, you will always get crit. Even if you are 5 cm from target.

I mean that the Claidheamh Mor's crit window is larger than any other sword's crit window. The thing is, the Claidheamh Mor's crit window is not pushed back; rather, it is extended until that charge ends, giving you a larger time to deal critical hits.
