valve just nerfed the sniper jump dodge so any deas how to dodge?

so.. that sucks tho

i try to strafe left and right

so any ideas how to dodge ?

im currently using stock sniper,darwin shield,shahanshah

I don't jump after shooting, so this update hasn't really affected me much; I usually just crouch and strafe around. In my meager sniper experience I've found that jumping after my shot makes my movement a lot more predictable, but that's just me.

If you're playing comp many snipers expect you to jump, whenever you are in the air you're moving very gracefully and in a very predictable motion too making you a very easy target (y)

Why you need to dodge? Just kill them before they hit you.

But they kill you before you kill them because they dodge?

That doesn't suck at all. It was an overdue that was needed to be done long ago. Glad that they finally nerfed it. Also, what Curly said :P

 

Don't be an asshole about playing sniper and accept the fact that you missed.
