Inspectah Deck
When I look at proofs for some price suggestions on the site, I see that some of the trades have already been closed. Is there a way to search for closed trades on outpost, or do you have to just bookmarks trades and follow them? Thanks in advance.

Inspectah Deck
That seems reasonable. I'm surprised that there really is no way to search finished trades. Thanks for your help.
cleverpun
Sometimes you can also use trade.tf to check closed trades, but I really dislike its interface
Jymotion
as cleverpun mentioned, trade.tf stores trades for 2 days, open or closed, with its good/fair deals section.
Baloo
To try and find the previous trade for which an item might have sold for before you can click on that item in the trade and it will pop up with all the previous owners of that item that have used tf2outpost. You can then sift through the previous owner's trades to find where he might have sold that item. This is only really useful for unusual suggestions though as they are allowed to use proof as old as a month where normal items tend to need more recent proof, usually within the week.
