said a Secret TC would be his dream hat, but there is no way he could afford it

 

well somehow in the last 19 hours he got a secret TC for 200 dollars and I don't know how

Bobsplosion is right. You can be curious about what the hat had been traded for, you can be, but you have to respect the new owner, and his statement that he would like to stay in private. This means you can be curious about the trade, but you shouldn't bother the new owner of the hat just to ask about it.
