Fastest way to get Steam Levels

Is the fastest way to get leveled up on your Steam Profile just by crafting badges form Trading Cards?

Is there any other way?

when the summer cards came out, cs go badges were basically free to craft, as they cost basically the same as the summer cards you could get

You only go up like 2 points for each game you own and then a boost for every bench mark of the badge you reach (1, 5, 25, 50, etc), but its not worth buying games for that purpose since it's so ridiculously cheaper to craft badges.
